As a nine-time recipient of the Top Workplace honor by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, we are proud to be recognized as one of the top places to work in the region. When you join Pattonville, you become part of a vibrant, diverse community dedicated to making a difference in the lives of students and families.
Certified staff and support staff who work 20 or more hours per week earn credit towards either the Public School Retirement Systems of Missouri (PSRS) or the Missouri Public School Employee Retirement System (PEERS). PSRS, for certified staff, and PEERS, for support staff, provides lifetime retirement benefits for qualified Missouri school employees.
Staff are generally off weekends and holidays and also accrue paid vacation and sick leave, with support staff being offered provisions to purchase unused sick time after specific thresholds. Pattonville offers staff working over 20 hours each week more than $10,000
in insurance benefit. Pattonville provides health care through Anthem and dental coverage through Delta Dental to district employees, with optional competitive monthly premiums for spouses, children or dependents. The district also offers a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA). Staff can also choose from optional benefits, including vision, disability and critical illness.
Pattonville’s CareATC employee health clinic operates year-round, and employees have several locations to choose from, including one on McKelvey Road in Maryland Heights. Pattonville partners with the Francis Howell, Parkway and Special school districts to offer the clinic to employees. Appointments are readily available and many prescription medications are provided at the clinic free of charge. There is no copay for most employees who use Pattonville’s CareATC employee health clinic.
Pattonville provides a free employee assistance program called Personal Assistance Services (PAS). PAS provides employees with a wealth of confidential, professional services that can help employees address challenges and strengthen their work and home life. PAS providers include: certified financial counselors, attorneys, elder care managers, child care specialists, certified child development and parenting professionals, organization and time management specialists, retirement coaches, career coaches, tobacco cessation coaches, master’s level licensed counselors, registered and licensed dietitians, life coaches, health coaches and more.
